Name project
Yesterday we was trying to find natural and man-made letters to spell out our names. For example if a tree tree branch looked like the letter "A" that would be natural. If you saw a sigh saying "WARNING" you could use a letter from this but it would be man made or if you placed leaves in the shape of "A" this would also be man made. I succeeded in finding 3 e's, 1 r, 1 s and have had no success with a D.

Saving Photoshop images
The above image is what shows when you try to save an image on photoshop, (file > save as ). Firstly rename your image to what ever you would like it to be called. Then decide which file you would like to save the image in. A image that has been edited in photoshop is always going to be saved as a ".psd" instead of a .JPEG. this is because the image has layers on it and will not save as a .JPEG image, until you have finished editing and combined the layers to the base image.
Adjustment Layers- Curves
The curves adjustment layer, is located at the bottom of the layers pallet the icon that looks like a black and white circle. The above shows the images with the layer switched off.
The images is showing the curves layer on, I have add two points to the curves line and made an "S" shape curve, this curve adds contrast to the image, as you can see.
Photoshop cropping
The above image shows the cropping menu in photoshop, this menu allows the user to select parts of the photograph to delete by dragging a window over the image. The menu also has built in presets of standard paper sizes i.e. 6x4 inches, 8x10 inches etc. Once you have made the selection click the tick symbol on the options bar.
